Intruding Noise

Outside I hear the intruding noise
A party on this home’s shared land
I wish not to deny their fun
I hope their party’s bright and grand
But as the evening gathers in
I hope that they will understand
The quiet time that others wish
The hushed times that we might have planned

Outside the singing is so bright
They celebrate their life it seems
And sometimes in the rousing voices
The vocals raise to their extremes
This is not bad in afternoons
When o’er them all the sunlight streams
But inside I pray they understand
That night desires peaceful dreams

  1. The singing is bad enough but the Laa-Laa-Laaaaaing at 2:30 AM is excruciatingly annoying LOL 😀

  2. I’m dialling when it reaches 1:30! So true though, some shut up, others drag on and on 😦

I love having no neighbors!!! 🙂 Although, sometimes the cows mooing or the horses neighing can be rather irritating. 🙂 Hugs, Sis!! xxxx
