Rondelet Rounds

Desolate soul
With your loss I’m broken and bare
Desolate soul
Would my pain engulf me here whole
Render me unconscious of care
Make all those that see me beware
Desolate soul

Woken again
Hear your voice on my telephone
Woken again
With no need to hide or pretend
I would make my life here your own
If you’d but forgive, I’d atone
Woken again

Lost in our hearts
No more denial in our words
Lost in our hearts
This is where perfection may start
This is much more than I deserved
All our needs and dreams here preserved
Lost in our hearts
