Dismay
Today
I pray
The way
Will cut through all dismay, today you
Give to my heart, I pray, the way through
It’s true
I do
Come through
For you
My heart was yours then, it’s true I do care
Despite this pain I come through for you there
And we
Are free
To be
Purely
As our souls at birth, and we are free, close
Now to stars wished to be, purely, most
(This is an attempt at the Tyborn form which has a syllable structure of 2/2/2/2/9/9 with the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th syllables repeating in the last two lines. It’s hard to do and I’m not sure I’ve done it justice!)

I love when you teach new things!! I loved it….not sure I get the style yet, but I loved what it had to say.
Thank you – it’s really hard to do this form and I’m not sure I didn’t lose the message in the form. : 🙂 xxx
You came through with flying colors!! It is a form that is harder than it looks. This is wonderful 🙂
Thank you – not sure about the last stanza really, it is a difficult form, but it is good to take up a challenge with writing I think. Thanks for our kind words!! 🙂
