Portrait of a male tabby cat (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Cat stretch
Eyes the world
With sly curiosity
Waiting for a mouse
To swat
With lazy paw
Or a human
To entice
Then torment
With playful glee

So wise he waits
The perfect moment
Purring softly
A siren song
Knowing in the end
All will dance
To his tune

I’ve got three of them. They’re all scared of mice. Spiders, on the other, apparently constitute a tasty snack.

Unless I pull out the laser pointer! Then he’ll be dancing to my tune! Muwahahahaha. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • LOL! That I’d like to see – a cat doing what a human wants!! LOL ๐Ÿ™‚

A friend of mine had a great drinking mug that had this on it: “A cat knows how you feel. He doesn’t care, but he knows’….LOL

Seriously, I like cats though, I admire that independence. ๐Ÿ™‚
