Shadows

Home night

Home night (Photo credit: AMagill)

Peek-a-boo
Shadows lurking
Children play
In darkened rooms

Lullabies
Hide their terrors
In the world
The black rose blooms

Hush now child
No use crying
Shadow friends
Have come to play

All who live
Will soon by dying
Nothing more
For us to say

I'm drawn to blogging as a way to share ideas and consider what makes us who we are. Whether it's in our working life or our creativity, expression is a means to connect.
