It was in his eyes
It was in his words
I was lost
It was in his lies
He knew I’d pay
It was in his smile
he could fool
me that in his heart
there was care
Like he’s my teacher I’m
back in school
But when needed most
he’s not there

So sad Helen, expectations of support and care being dashed by inconsiderate lovers. Men can be such bastards can’t they.
So can women I think, not that this is about a woman obviously! 🙂 🙂
