He’s Not There

It was in his eyes
I fell
It was in his words
I was lost
It was in his lies
Perfect hell
He knew I’d pay
every cost

It was in his smile
he could fool
me that in his heart
there was care
Like he’s my teacher I’m
back in school
But when needed most
he’s not there

  1. So sad Helen, expectations of support and care being dashed by inconsiderate lovers. Men can be such bastards can’t they.

  2. Antonio De Simone says:

I wish you a happy new year! Good 2014! 🙂
