Sweet Lullaby

Sweet lullaby
As dusk approaches
Take me gently
On your way
Let me not weep
To see your dreamworld
Hold me tightly
Till the day

When I waken
Hear you singing
In a memory
In my heart
Not foresaken
Nor forgotten
This I’ll treasure
Should we part

We really do write on similar themes don’t we? I enjoyed this one, narcissistic though that sounds!

    • Yes, it’s spooky – particularly as we write them at different times and – apart from my Leverage post which came from our discussion on the same topic – without any discussion to inspire one or other of us. Mind meld!!!!
