And have you yet found
A new sunrise?
Not requiring you to strive
To fulfil impossibility
But allowing you
To simply be?
What have you found?
A new child cries
At its first sunrise
Unaware of where
The roads may lead
Innocence and hopefulness
Are treasures indeed
Just simply be
What have you found?
The earth turns slow
In circles of the eternal
That each little spark
Will rise at its allotted time
In perfect rhythm
Perfect rhyme
To simply be
What have you found?

I try to always be open to what is to be found each day
I have found a sense of peace in your poem. Good one Helen
Thanks John, that means a lot. It was for someone close to me who suffered in his life about his identity in many ways and it’s a genuine wish that he has found peace too, given in his case that he has now passed. π
I’m so sorry for your loss, Helen. This is a fine tribute.
Thanks John. ππ
Truly magnificent
Thank you! ππ
