Once

So long ago
It seems another lifetime
Another girl
Not me
But even so
My heart knew something deep
How to take flight
Be free
But only once
I felt this deeply
Like some wonder
To behold
So long ago
Just another lifetime
Another girl
Who has now grown old

  1. This is beautiful, You’re very talented. I’ve recently posted a piece about tattoo’s and regrets about the past, would be great to hear what you think about it! You can find it here: https://notjustaview.wordpress.com 🙂

    • Thanks so much, that is very kind. I checked out your post and agree wholeheartedly with the view you eloquently outline. In the end, wHether a regret is about a tattoo or something else, what is done is done and either pro active changes, if possible, or acceptance if not, are the only real options available, so it is important to be at peace with that. 🙂
