Sinking

Floating peacefully downstream
Lost in exquisite
Haunting dreams
Gliding softly in the flow
Where the foolish
Often go
I am sinking through my skin
Water ends where
I begin
Songs are lilting through the spheres
Let me melt
And disappear

Quick dissolving all my soul
In completeness
I am whole
I can feel this folding in
What’s without
Is soon within
I am sinking but I feel
More alive and
So more real
Angels falling, break of day
Let me melt
And float away

  1. All of the poems I’ve read on your blog are nice but I especially like this one. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I appreciate it.

  2. This is a feeling I get just before falling asleep. Well done.
