Fear

You were right to fear
We are here

It is far too late
To remediate

We will slake our thirst
On you first

You were right to fear
We are here

And though none believed
No reprieve

Underneath your bed
Like you said

It’s no nightmare yet
To forget

And though none believed
No reprieve

  1. The Rebel says:

Silence steps on to the throne
    when words become powerless
    No reprieve in words
    The freedom is in silence,
    where words smoulder
    Singeing the veins
    scalding the heart
    There’s no reprieve in words
    It’s no nightmare, yet
The silence will drown the words
    giving freedom it’s release

  2. Man, how does one get away?
