Mood Indigo

Navy black depression
Too many coffees consumed
This desperate day
Awaking desolate
Without rhyme or reason
In doubt and dismay
Mood indigo
Crosses your brittle thoughts
Like a lost memory
All of these colours
Just fading away
Just the light you can’t see

Some days are just like that.

    • Yep, thankfully I wrote this some time ago so I doesn’t reflect my current mood. Mind you, I go back to work in about three days time, so it may well do so before long, LOLOL!! 🙂 🙂

  2. Oh my, I have lived there too often in my life. I am all about never returning now. This was perfect in its description. I am sooooo glad you are not there now!! And, do NOT let work bring you there. Big hugs, Sis!!

  3. Can you imagine they want to remove indigo from the science curriculum (ROY G. BIV, part of the rainbow) because the color is too complicated? I joke to my students that their children will complain about having to memorize the colors of the rainbow as R.V. 🙂

  4. Momma said there’d be days like this….. (smiles) xxxx
