Soft reverberation
In the midst of the night
A melody without progression
Wafting from the inner ear
It’s a dream tone
Sounding silently
But perceptibly
Against your skin
It’s a warning
And a siren call
It’s a blessing and a sin
Softer susseration
Like a butterfly within
The dream tone of this nightscape
Is a message to begin

Thanks – maybe one day, poetry has been a release for me, to put it in the publishing treadmill might take that away…but then…maybe one day I can put a collection together…we’ll see! 🙂
