Intruders

They come at night
They bite
They’re shuddering
With sin
A wraith, a ghost
They boast
They’ll take us all
We’ll fall

Intruders deep
They creep
I cannot weep
Nor sleep
I cannot breathe
Please leave
I’ve paid the cost
But lost

They come at night
They bite
Their darkened glow
Won’t go
They’re so near
I fear
They come at night
They bite

  2. Darn bedbugs, I’ve stayed in hotels where they seem to be complimentary instead of chocolates LOL 🙂

  3. I had visions of the cockroaches i wrote about the other night…lol

heebee jeebees – these are heebee jeebees – which can be anything and everything. 🙂

Great imagery. I agree with words4jp, “heebee jeebees”. Each reading, it would evoke a new potential.
