Red Carpet

Stiletto
Calves are sleek and long
perfection

She shimmers
Her face bold and strong
complexion

Red Carpet
The flashbulbs play her
star blessed theme

For fame now
nothing she’d aver
for esteem

  1. What some women have to endure for fame and stardom. Well expressed Helen.

Very well expressed, Helen. This says so much with so few words.

  3. I absolutely cannot walk in heels I walk like a neanderthal it is so bad. Once I went out for my birthday in heels and literally people would carry me across the cobblestone roads because they were afraid I’d break my ankles. So there I was all dressed up tucked underneath someone’s arm like a disobedient child.

I used to wear heels all the time for work; now, chasing after chickens, it would seem rather ridiculous. lol I much prefer my “no spotlight” life now. 🙂

    Well, done, Sis!!!! xxxx
