Holy Grail

And would we fall before
The Holy Grail
And would we fall?
Would we recognise
A moment’s purity
Would we recognise?

Each day travelled in
The modern world
Seems travesty
Were my spirit and
My honor bound
What’s left to me?
When the sins of ages
Only garner
Publicity?

And would we fall before
The Holy Grail
And would we fall?

That depends on whether I’d found the Holy Hand-genade of Antioch first…

You pose a poetic question for an answer to wish or a hope. Thought provoking and very well done.
