Dragonfly
soul; enwrap me till
I am lost

Flying high
above me; streaks of
light abound

Touch my hand
Bid me enter here
to your hearth

Dragonfly
wings; shelter me now
from the storm

I saw a dragonfly once – biggest one I’ve ever seen. It must have been a good foot in length. It was racing a lorry down the road and appeared to be winning.

Dragonflies – my favourite – there is something magical about them πŸ™‚
