Matrix Musing

I’d like a hacker
To break through
The circuitry
Of your mind
The connections
And coding
Of your heart

I’d like the hacker
To tell me
What is really
Within
Is there anything
Except 0001100111
In endless
And meaningless
streams?

If we’re all in
The matrix
I think your pattern
Is on repeat
I don’t need an Oracle
To tell me
The batteries
I keep feeding you
Ran dry
Long ago
As did I……

LOVE THIS!!! I’m in need of a “hacker” too. Let me know if you find a good one 🙂 you are an amazing poet. You inspire me 🙂

    • Thank you so much – yes, if I find an effective hacker of this sort I’ll let you know! 😉 Somehow I suspct the traditional kind is easier to find than one to ‘hack’ the internal nature of a person’s mind… 🙂

What I really like about your poems is that you slip on different roles so easily. It is really hard for me to do that personally. When I write about other people’s experiences it is usually from a third not first person perspective. I know that some of these poems are about you where as others are not. Or am I completely wrong? Are they all about your experience? If you are slipping on other people’s perspectives you are doing a really good job of it. Outside of that, this poem has a really consistent and strong metaphor. Strong perspective. I like it. 🙂

I have nominated you for the Sunshine Award! Great job, keep on blogging! http://whenibecameanauthor.wordpress.com/2013/03/20/sunshine-award/

    • Thank you so much, so kind to think of me. It must be my day for this given the dragon one above too. I shall try to follow up both on the weekend if I can, but if I don’t manage it and only get to the dragon one, or neither, please know I do still very much appreciate you thinking of me! 🙂 My work is crazy busy at the moment and I end up doing work on weekends as well as long days so I’ve tended to take the policy of spending free time reading blogs I follow, such as your wonderful one, rather than doing the nomination process for blog awads, but I shall really try if I can this weekend!! 🙂

I completly understand, and don’t worry! I’m just so very blessed to have such wonderful people like you following my blog! And I really love your poems, you deserve much more than these awards, but at present, it is the best I can do! lol Have a wonderful week, and thank you for taking time from your busy life to visit my blog! God bless!
