Wisdom

Here is wisdom
Not found within books
Or utterances
of aged lips
Between the chimera’s smile
And such ghosts that slip
Trembling at
Your fingertips

Here is wisdom
Where the one becomes the all
Boundaries are
cruelly torn
And something unconcieved
Can yet be born
Where fealty
Is sworn

Here is wisdom
A tiny baby’s cry
Holds all the words
we know entire
Forgotten as we grow
To pitifully aspire
As we burn
In fire

About helenvalentina

Like most people, I have a number of sides to me. The most interesting one probably emerges through my writing, hence this blog. I love to read, and also to write, and so this is a way to share both.
