Your Place

This is your place
This darkness suits you
As you wear the cloak
Of invisibility
Your tortured dreams
Have harmony within
These ancient walls
And if I ever came to call
You’d draw me in
And draw me down
Into eternity

This is your home
The place where you were born
A mewing infant
With a deathly caul
You took it all
Your mother’s dying breath
And if I came
I know there’s nothing left
And nothing’s free
You’d draw me down
Into eternity
