Delicate

You are freshly born
So delicate
Beauteous imagery
And so dear to me
Like the breaking dawn

How my heart is torn
Can’t true placate
Your sweet symmetry
What the world will see
What they’ll dream upon

I am not forlorn
So intricate
Is your chemistry
I can yet believe
You are freshly born

  1. Chemical poetry. I was thinking of molecular crystals when I saw the snowflake, so finding chemistry in the poem was a real treat. 🙂
