A God’s Life

greek god

Immemorial, immaterial
Immortal
This terrible existence
Without end
Competing energy electric
Sing your symphonies
In incorporeal space
And of any earlier mercy
Not a trace

Revered in legend, longing
Lamentations
A god’s life spans
Everything
Personality of vibrancy
Peculiar vernacular and literacy
Shimmering without sight
And of the promised brand new dawn
There is only night

  1. Immeasurable. πŸ™‚

  2. Must be a down side to being a God, Helen, you live forever, you see everything we feeble humans do, must be depressing at times for them.
