The foundation of thought
Needs be sturdy and strong
In vagaries not caught
Only rational belong

We should be precise
Our logic so clear
Our intellect ice
This crisp time of year

Our arguments right
Our materials sound
There’s no better sight
Than standing one’s ground

Our foundation’s belief
Is supported by acts
We avoid petty grief
By rational acts

  1. Standing your ground, I think is so important as both parties know where the other stands, once known and understood, then you can begin to negotiate . Well said Helen.
