Omega

I am weary of the alpha
So long ago
Such beginnings are forever
Build too slow

I am waiting as omega
At the end
And death and all his retinue
Are my friends

I complete this like a snake now
Swallowing my tail
All the power and the mystery
I’d curtail

I am weary of the alpha
Beating heart
Knowing after the omega
I once more start
Even though I’d rather stop now
Once more start….

  1. A new beginning… wonderful.. I can also associate the alpha male… those arrogant beast that own the world..

  2. This is all Greek to me. 🙂

Beautifully represented Helen. Note the symbology of the Celtic knot exemplifying the same principle for us Irish guys. Greatly enjoyed and appreciated.

    Well done, Sis! 🙂
