Virtue is above the need for truth
It calls to something far more powerful
Deep within
It is honour here without need of proof
It shows the inner warrior
The place to begin
It’s nothing more nor less than perfect choice
When everything within the soul
Could yield
It’s how light comes, how angels have a voice
And gives the truest heart the
Perfect shield

You are a great writer and this one is my favorite!

  2. Virtue is indeed a gift not everyone acquires. But I like how you say it gives the heart the perfect shield. Well done Helen.

  3. Love that last line. 🙂
