Rare breeds of human
Still survive
Their DNA intact
Their souls still individual

Robotic energy
Has thus far eluded them
They live and breathe
Within ancient history’s span

They cling to beliefs
Deny singularity
Religions still holds them
Conceptually

Rare breeds of human
Are our throwbacks to
A time when I was me
And you were you
