Swim carefully
The tendrils here are deadly
They curl and coil about you
To draw you further in
Swim cautiously
The many coloured fish are all
Siren songs to your decline
Beautiful assassins
Swim hopefully
Within the web of blue and white
The sun sprinkled up above
Reflections to the surface
Swim carefully
Enemy waters may yet beguile
And to the deeper darkness draw
Your childlike innocence

So true of living in Australia. The beautiful can very easily be the most deadly. And that’s just the humans!!!
