Simplicity

The simplicity of moments
A child’s laugh
A pure blue sky
The face of a friend
The perfect butterfly
The simplicity is all

The simplicity of lifetimes
Youthful innocence
Tempestuous adolescence
Stretching wings of adulthood
Yielding now to aging’s essence
The simplicity is all

  1. I kept thinking this is right isn’t it, our entire lives are the result of such a simple measure over which we have no control, no matter how hard we may try. You have all but explained the purpose of life Helen. Beautifully expressed.

  3. Small can be so very, very big. * bows*

    Good morning greetings
    feeding birds
    conversations, laughter
    smiling at you
    lunch with a puppy
    feeling your heart with mine
    walking the streets
    praising His Name
    a song, a prayer
    tears flowing down my face
    sitting on a bench
    hugs around your neck
    thankfulness
    sleeping under the stars
    those eyes
    in all things… God moves.
