Little ladybug
Red and black
Wings are curled
Upon your back
You’re a wonder
In small form
Iridescent
So adorned

Little ladybug
Perfect, small
I can’t hurt you
Not at all
Such pure beauty
Must be free
Such a wonder
Sweet lady

  3. It is often those simple things in life that we take for granted that can so intrigue us. Why is a lady beetle a lady beetle? Are they all female? Good one Helen?
