Warmth

Warm Fire

Warm Fire (Photo credit: lightsoutfilms)

Too much warmth
Is stifling
It suffocates
It draws you in

Too little warmth
Will cause a chill
It turns you blue
It makes you ill

So what to make
Of failing flame
Just a mistake
So who’s to blame?

We need the warmth
We knew of old
Before our lives
Had drained it cold
