Before You

Before you I was innocent
I believed a smile
Was just a smile
A glance
Was just a glance

Before you I was half content
I believed that love
Would come to me
My chance
Would come, my chance

Before you life was redolent
The sweetest tastes
And none to waste
A dance
A perfect dance

Before you I was innocent
I believed that love
Was simply love
Romance
Was just romance
