Half past ten
Dark morning
Lingering over coffee
My hand strays
Silently prays
Again and again
In barely hidden
Bleak despair
For once again
Again it’s there
The busy signal
I said I’d call
You said you’d be
Waiting by your phone
To answer me
Each time I try
Reveals the lie
For once again
Again it’s there
The busy signal
Perhaps you mean
To make a point
So I understand
Your time’s not yours
So popular
What it is to be
So in demand
Instead it’s pain
You give, no more
For once again
Again it’s there
The busy signal

Wow! Love this!! Great work, Sis. How frustrating the lies can be and trying to fit into someone’s life that you love that just won’t make the time. Well done!! 🙂 xxxx
Thank you dear Sis!! 🙂 🙂 xxx
That busy signal might ruin relationships… Interesting write.
Thanks so much!! 🙂 🙂
You should check his Facebook page instead…
LOL! hey, in other news, your book arrived today – looking forward to reading it!! 🙂 🙂
I hope it’s all printed up properly and everything. I haven’t had my proof copy yet. Haven’t even ordered it. I’m still waiting for those thieving so and sos at PayPal to transfer funds from my bank.
LOL – well it looks good to me, I haven’t read page by page yet, but the cover looks great and I just skimmed through after reading this comment and it all looks great to me. 🙂 I think your choice of poem for the back over was inspired!!! 🙂
Lazy more like. I was going to write a new one, but then couldn’t be bothered.
