Congratulations!!! POD has come so quickly. You went through LULU right. I went through createspace and have been waiting since June 6th. I am so frustrated!
Yes, lulu is quick an very professional/helpful..then the global part they arrange depends on the retailers – for Amazon POD it took about 6 weeks, and for Nook ebooks a similar time, while iStore was only about four weeks..so I’m not sure if there is an average. Did you get your proof sent – I’ve been waiting for the news yours is available so I can buy!! 🙂
I wish I could give you good news, but create space was so backed up that they did not start with me for three weeks, then revisions cost me another three. I have yet to get my proof, and upload my cover art. I have contests that I was looking forward to participating in prior to Oct. 1st deadlines and I am going to be pushing the wire to get it done. They told me 8 weeks start to finish and it has been close to twelve and we still aren’t there yet. part of the issue was the handwritten letters and different fonts for that. They make choosing font and font size so very difficult and time consuming.
Wow, I really feel for you, how frustrating! I am sure the finished product will be more than worth the labour, but how difficult it is being for you!
