Do angels weep
Before such loss
Or watch with indifferent eyes
Singing such dirges to the skies
As praises to the God on high
Upon whose face they gaze?

Do angels feel
The pain of man
Or contemplate one step removed
On justice and of fate approved
Of Godโ€™s good graces here pursued
In fury as they blaze?

Do angels know
The span of time
Across which canvas might be seen
A balance for the cruel, obscene
Tide of fate as in between
Weโ€™re lost within the maze?

I believe they weep for the pain we experience here. I am sure they rejoice as well. Hmmmm…ponder, ponder. ๐Ÿ™‚
