A mystery
A rarity
A beauty here
Beyond the sea
So delicate
And yet so strong
So elegant
A haunting song
And who believes
Such creatures breathe
In brightened light
In feathers wreathed?
Found not in dark
Nor cold daylight
This mythic bird
The peacock white
Such alchemy
Do you suppose
The whiteness here’s
Not just the rose?
The whiteness here’s
Not just the rose?

Thanks Ajaytao for letting me use the inspiring image! 🙂 🙂
Ajay has such incredible photos! This is beautiful, Sis!! 🙂 Hope you have a great weekend!!
Yes, he does, doesn’t he – this one called out to me to write!! 🙂
White peacocks are gorgeous. I saw one in Floruda and they look like ivory statues until they move.
I’m sure they do – I’d love to see one in real life, but the photo is a lovely vision anyway. 🙂
It was by accident. In St. Augustine, they have the ‘Fountain of Youth’ and peacocks are roaming the area. I couldn’t find anyone to tell me if they got it like that or it was born there.
I also feel privileged to see a white peacock, and it was other-worldly and startling.
I’ve never seen one, that’s part of why the photo was so inspiring. Just beautiful! 🙂
Ajaytao always has great pictures. I wonder who took that one. And how he finds all these amazing photos. I need to read less and write more, but I keep reading anyway. It’s so fun!
🙂
I used to live in an attic flat many years ago, and one morning was woken up by two peacocks bouncing up and down on the roof. You only realise how big they actually are when you see the ceiling start to bulge.
Wow, never thought of it like that!! 🙂 🙂
I have seen one in real life they are supernaturally beautiful
I am sure they are…the photo looked supernatural! 🙂 🙂
OMG this is just stunning Sis!
Thank you, the bird is stunning, one can’t help but be inspired! 🙂 🙂 xxx
