The Fool
On the precipice
Dancing dog
Bids you jump and fly
In my world this new
Chance here seems
Both wonderous, dread
The Magician
Purest alchemy
As above
So below, is known
Can I take this chance
Weave it now
With experience?
The High Priestess
Isis mystery
Wisdom school
Initiate bows
My intuition
Is sharp, blade
Of pure thought
The Empress
Sacred motherhood
Pregnant with
Possibility
Fashion now my life
Abundant
Growth comes from the new

interesting.. do you engage in tarot card reading?
Thanks, yes, I do as a hobby. I find it a great meditative and reflective tool. π π
wow.. it all seems so interesting.. π
but I’m a little strange about it because I’ve watched a movie in which a woman could see true horrors in tarot cards.. π
I don’t see horrors when I read…I think movies are overly dramatic on such things…even the ‘death’ card isn’t about death, it’s about change and choice. I just find it a good way to reflect on things, then you make your own choices and life continues ….not that big a deal, just interesting. π
yes, that is what I think as well… they are quite intriguing and mystical.. π
you have made me interested.. I’d look forward to further parts of The Progress of the Tarot..
As a “tarot freak”, I enjoyed this poem a lot! π Very interesting and creative.
Thank so much!! I will continue the series at a later date. π
Yay! Can’t wait. π
I was going to say that two of the cards were Rider Waite, but then I noticed the captions, which stole my thunder really.
LOL, yes, its the most referenced tarot deck I’ve seen anywhere, so finding rider wait images is easy on line. π
I have the deck that featured in Live and Let Die somewhere. After the major arcana the illustrations get a bit dull, unfortunately.
Nifty! π
Thanks!! π π
