Communion

Eyes across a room
Commune
In a knowing glance
Advance
Eyelids flutter by
A lie
Do we yet have proof
Of truth?

Daemon to daemon
Here upon
Greater than our past
We clasp
Smaller souls here lost
The cost
Witness to the dance
Entranced

Eyes across a room
Commune
Each must play a part
Twin hearts
Shadows winking by
Will try
Eyes across a room
Commune

About helenvalentina

Like most people, I have a number of sides to me. The most interesting one probably emerges through my writing, hence this blog. I love to read, and also to write, and so this is a way to share both.

I love the word commune and also, the way you have us wondering about the pair of eyes looking across the room at another pair…. I love those enchanted feelings… sparks flying without a word!

This instant in time is poetically embellished to relate much more substantial vibes and feelings – doubt, future, past, risk, gain… The cadence, rhyming and simple language becomes the body language that often speaks more than words alone. For communication on two levels here I give you an A+ Helen.
