End Game

0 The Fool

0 The Fool (Photo credit: n0cturbulous)

Poised on the precipice
The Fool dances
Plans and strategies
Are just words on paper
Marks on maps
The quantum of force
Blisters through intellect
Is brute force the answer
Or another riddle to solve
For end game?

Flying above it all
Perilous moments
Is there a divine balance
Or has chaos
Run amok?
The utter pointlessness
Of choosing sides
When all were taken at birth
For end game

Broken missionaries
Mumbling words
Of listless comfort
All honor and sacrifice
Is meted out
Like a punishment
I’m wondering if a god will win
A man, or just a fool
This end game

About helenvalentina

Like most people, I have a number of sides to me. The most interesting one probably emerges through my writing, hence this blog. I love to read, and also to write, and so this is a way to share both.
