No More

Left Alone . . .

Left Alone . . . (Photo credit: NJ..)

I wanted you once
No more, no more
I needed you once
No more
I paced for you once
The floor, the floor
I turned to your heart
Implored

I believed in you once
Was blind, was blind
Didn’t know you’d be cruel
Not kind
So damage is all
We find, we find
And by tragedy
I’m defined

I fell for you once
No more, nor more
Infatuation will grow
No more
Where once there was love
Abhor, abhor
Where once was so much
No more

Dark, yet intriguing and has a great flow.

  3. Powerful Helen the repetition works brilliantly

  4. Love the repetition and flow of the poem. It really brings out a sense of sadness and defiance.
