Beautiful face
Perfect blend
Of symmetry and grace
The golden mean
Has found its place
On this beautiful face
Deep shining eyes
Hooded mystery
Hints at the prize
This is artistry
In human guise
Seen through beautiful eyes
The depths of a smile
Bid the true seeker
Rest here awhile
Redolent red lips
Epitome of style
Shown in this beautiful smile
OK, this is just me being shallow, a paean to male and female physical beauty.

Did NOT need to read this one when I am having such a bad hair day! 😀 lol Love it, Helen!! YOU are the epitome of poetry style!!
Thank you, that is so kind!!! It was inspired while I sat in the hairdresser salon reading magazines full of impossibly beautiful people… 🙂
Oh, my, you are so brave! I never look at those magazines while being forced to stare at myself in a mirror with hair quite mussed and fussed with. 🙂
LOL, I’d rather look at them than look at myself…mid transformation I have the purple spiky hair from blonde colouring and look like something quite alien! 🙂
I think of you every time I am in that chair now. It is one of the first conversations we had. Love you, Helen….my purple spiky, chocolate lovin’ pal!!
Love you too Skye!! 🙂 xxx
Thank you. It’s about time somebody wrote a poem about me.
LOL! 🙂 🙂
could be a plaque beneath mona lisa
Very true, and far more deep and profound meaning to the poem than my rather shallow thoughts! 🙂
beauty is meant to be appreciated, in any of its forms )
Very true, thank you!! 🙂 🙂
