Champagne wishes
Caviar dreams
Fine silken suits
Frayed at the seams
Cocktails in crystal
My how they gleam!
Champagne wishes
Caviar dreams

Fox in the hen-house
Secrets betrayed
Masks full of memories
Lost masquerade
All of the finery
Richly displayed
Fox in the hen-house
Secrets betrayed

Like most people, I have a number of sides to me. The most interesting one probably emerges through my writing, hence this blog. I love to read, and also to write, and so this is a way to share both.

  3. ahhh gotta watch out for that crafty fox! Great piece Sis xxx

    • Thank you!! I have to admit this was inspired from a rather prosaic source – I was watching episode 18 of Revenge and my fave character Nolan said something like ‘can’t have champagne wishes without caviar dreams’…the episode had a masquarade ball too…so it all kind of flowed from there!! LOL. πŸ™‚
