Drink To Me

Drink to me
As though you care
Drink to me
To show you’re there
Though I know
It isn’t true
Drink to me
I’ll drink to you

Drink for what
We might have been
Drink for all
The days unseen
Though I know
You couldn’t dream
Drink for all
The truths unseen

Drink to me
And just pretend
This moment’s joy
Will never end
Though I know
You must depart
Drink to me
My hopeless heart

Like most people, I have a number of sides to me. The most interesting one probably emerges through my writing, hence this blog. I love to read, and also to write, and so this is a way to share both.
