Three Fates decide
While we abide
Both growth and pride
Then lesser tides
Three Fates bestow
On those below
A chance to grow
Once quick, once slow
Three Fates decree
What we may be
And how we’ll see
Eternity
Three Fates believe
What we perceive
Is a reprieve
Or our time to grieve
Three Fates decide
What we’re inside
What we have tried
What we’re denied

Thank you!!! I’m glad it flows well when being read aloud. 🙂
lol….try it!!! You, too, shall love it!! 😀
Poems about the fates always fascinate me – because I refuse to believe in them – but….
LOL…I feel similarly…I can’t escape the thought that if fate is true then evil people have no choice to be anything other than evil..and if that’s true..what does that do to the foundation of morality? 🙂
Terrific meter and rhyme and rhythm my friend… flows nicely from the eyes and tongue. Superb poem my friend. huggggs
Thanks so much my friend!! 🙂 🙂
The flow is divine! I am uncoordinated even when I write lol This is amazing =)
Thank you so much!! 🙂 I’m glad this flows…I find getting that right in poetry tricky sometimes! Sometimes I sacrifice the flow for the ideas. 🙂
I think I do that a lot lol
