Poetry and Truth

Poetry is a way
To tell the truth
Through allegory

Or make a perfect
Argument
So all who read agree

But if my words
Dissemble
Or the message
not read true

We see poetry
May also hide the truth
Far out of view

Hmm, looks like wearing an ascot is required if you are to be considered “a poet”. 😉

I liked this one, actually I like most all of yours, but that is besides the point … has me ruminating, but it’s ok, I am not drooling yet. Thanks for sharing this!

  4. True. sometimes, there’s no telling when a writer can loose or find the truth. sometimes.
