Unrequited

I turn my face
From yours
Your lips capture
Only my cheek
So I am polite
Not passionate
And words of love
I will not speak

You turn your face
To mine
Your eyes implore
My very soul
But to return this look
In any honesty
Is simply out of
My control

of these last three I have read tonight, this is my favorite. It says far more than the words are allowed to say.
