Suspect feelings rise
A glimpse of something so old
It decays from within
A mask worn
Through the mirror dark
Reflects back a truth
Soothsayers would scream for
Lash across the back
Splinters of words
And dreams
Corrode the flesh
From a face
Best forgotten
A morning of remembrance
Drunk from revelry
The night before
Dancing with your darkness
Supping with the beast
Once innocence is lost
Wisdom might replace
The delicacy
And patch up the cracks
In between
But nothing brings back the angels
Once they have
Flown away

Thank you! I hope you like what I’m trying to say in the book – and there is a lot more to come. The first story concentrates on the experiences of those who touch the larger world. The next book, ‘A Vengeance of Angels’ will take it further.
I’m sure I will. I will also do a review on amazon if you like once I’ve read it…just need to be patient as I have so little time so I tend to read books one chapter at a time every few days or so..but I will get there, and I am sure I will be looking forward to the next instalment! 🙂
