Horizons

I am flying
Flying onwards to the new
I am calling
I am calling out to you
The horizons
Promise lovely scenery
Won’t you follow
Won’t you quickly follow me?

I’m cascading
Like pure water falling down
Fear is fading
I will find a newer ground
There re-building
A warm home and warmer hearth
Won’t you follow
Won’t you follow this sweet path?

I won’t linger
I am flying to my dream
You can follow
You can follow me downstream
You’re invited
You can play a special part
You’ll be sheltered
Sheltered safe within my heart

I am flying
Flying onwards to the new
I am calling
I am calling out to you

  1. I too am flying
    Flying onwards to the new
    I too am calling
    Calling back to you
    Have no fear
    I know of newer ground
    Where dreams come true
I will fly there with you

  2. This should be a song, I heard a lovely melody in my mind as I read this with soft guitar

I love the structure of this poem. It leads you along like little teasers from a friend.
