Pitiless
As Vlad Tepeβs eyes
Gazing at the carnage
Of his artistry
You rise
Remorseless as he
You remain
Against all the cries wrung out
From this
Symphony of pain
Bloodless lips
Like his icy kiss
Draw back
Startling with abject fear
To drink your bliss
Ruthless here
His battlefield of old
Spiked humanity
Scream wordlessly
All your truths untold

Very chilling. He looks so friendly in the picture too.
Thanks. The sort of ‘friendly’ you want to keep at a distance, LOL!! π π
“Symphony of Pain” Love it. Paints a haunting pic.
Thanks Ray!! π π
He enjoyed nailing people’s hats to their heads, I believe.
Yes, he was not a kind man….. π
Or he just never got round to buying a hat stand.
LOL!! π π
Chilling piece… great writing.
Thanks so much!! π π
Yikes! How do you know what he kisses like? Is this the guy you kissed for ‘Kissing’s Sake’? Horrible poem π
LOL!! No, not the same person and the kiss in this was meant more figuratively…just describing someone as cruel as Vlad, but a fictional character. π
terrifying…yet beautifully expressed, if that makes any sense whatsoevery π
Thanks so much – and yes, it does make sense!! π π
