Aspirational Alliteration

This competition
corrodes camaraderie

Vicious victory
from verbal vilification

Hopeful honesty
hides from hurtful humour

Bonding betrayed
by bloodied besting

Stop senseless slaughter!
Souls strive so sadly

Unity ultimately
undoes unfair undermining

Hands holding,
highlighting hopeful hearts.

About helenvalentina

Like most people, I have a number of sides to me. The most interesting one probably emerges through my writing, hence this blog. I love to read, and also to write, and so this is a way to share both.

Positively pontifical and politely to the point!
Love it! :) Great job with your lines!
    Peace to you, Helen.
    Cheerz! UT

  2. “Hopeful honesty

You’ve hit the nail on the head with that one. Very good.

  3. Love the last tiny paragraph. :)

Had to read it again to confirm but yes, it is a complete and grammatically correct sentence and that alone has me in awe. I thought I was bad when it came to overuse of this much maligned style but yours is fully sick! I bow to your supremacy and will never again chide myself for flogging this particular horse to death with a pen. Very well done (and pretty hard work too I’d guess).
